About the event

Southern Medical University Shenzhen Hospital signed an agreement with representatives of 10 partner institutions, including the School of Sustainability, AIA Life, Taikang Life, Pacific Health, China-Italy Life, CIGNA, Leyue Health, Middle Belt, Biosun Health, and Fengshi Health, to jointly explore the establishment of an international commercial insurance settlement mechanism linked to hospital quality assessment and promote the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Insurance Service Center.

This cooperation will greatly improve the quality of medical services, and provide citizens with convenient, efficient, high-quality, comprehensive and personalized medical services, so that data can "travel more" and patients can "run less", and open up the "last mile" of one-stop settlement of medical insurance and commercial insurance.

As one of the first international service pilot units in Shenzhen, Southern Medical University Shenzhen Hospital has actively implemented the "Three-Year Action Plan for Promoting the Innovation and Development of International Medical Services" of Shenzhen Municipal Health Commission and Medical Insurance Bureau. After being the first to pass the international hospital accreditation in the country in June last year, it has cooperated with a number of medical institutions in Hong Kong and Macao and was approved for the "Hong Kong and Macao Drug and Equipment Access". This time, the signing of the commercial insurance one-stop service strategic cooperation framework agreement with 10 commercial health insurance institutions means that the internationalization of medical services has once again taken solid steps.
